Beauty At Best

Many people would agree that beauty is skin-deep. It is something that is found within and is illuminated to show outwardly. In today's society however, these same people would also agree that beauty is found in the outer appearance and to be maintained. To beauty and makeup gurus, beautifying seems to come naturally while for others, it takes a bit of practice. Outward beauty starts with taking care of yourself, as simple as that.  Skincare is very important. Taking care of acne, uneven skin tones, dry or oily skin among other things are predecessors of what makes your skin look better or possibly worse. Some people think of long and difficult processes to take care of these problems-multiple trips to the dermatologist,  purchasing costly skin products,  [sometimes] bizarre home remedies. As for myself, I require four things: a drugstore facial cleanser, moisturizer,  makeup remover if need be and a weekly facial mask. There is a brand of facial mask I've purchased twice, once out of curiosity, and secondly because I absolutely loved it and have yet to purchase more.
Mybeautydiary is a Taiwanese skin care brand particularly for face masks. These masks are very popular around Asia and serve several different functions such as skin lightening,  firming, oil control,  moisturizing, and clarifying to name a few. Teens and adults alike use these masks for those purposes.

Using this product is simple.
1) cleanse face
2) peel mask from package, the side that sticks on the foil goes on your face
3) leave it on for about 20 minutes ( I leave it on until it dries out completely)
4) peel it off.

As with any product put to use,  there will be pros and cons.

Pros:
-These masks come in a variety (black pearl, caviar, strawberry yogurt, aloe, honey,  etc.)
-made with natural ingredients
-are inexpensive (I got mine off Amazon, $15 for a box of 10 isn't too shabby)
-no matter how funky the ingredients are, scent wise, they are fragrant. The smell is subtle and not too strong,  just enough to enjoy.
-leaves skin feeling soft and refreshed
-masks are very moist, so much so that there is leftover serum in package to use. (Nothing to waste here!)
-most importantly it is great for sensitive skin
-the packaging is cute and girly

Cons:
-the masks are thin so it can rip a little easily
-it's a bit big for my face so it ends up being folded a little or wrinkled so it doesn't overlap into my hair

I am a person that can be very self conscious about my skin because at times I might be a pizza face with pimples and zits claiming my skin as their territory.  Other times I will be prone to having a dry, flakey face. It is not very attractive. It's like having a donut with the glaze coming off of it versus one that has its glaze perfectly intact. I'd want the prettier one but food is besides the point. I myself, am not a stickler for purchasing skin products for the mere fact that they are either costly or don't work as it guarantees it will. This product proves otherwise and I do not regret the making of this purchase.
