Line ups and the crowds they attract.

-Summer Camp 2014 line up released

Having a line up that mixes music genres is great but it often attracts the wrong people. A lot of patrons who enjoy heavy bass music like bassnectar are usually younger and more ignorant and the proof is in the pudding. http://www.timesunion.com/local/article/How-safe-is-Camp-Bisco-4650577.php in this article tells the story of a girl who took some bad drugs at a festival called Camp Bisco and turned into a human vegetable due to poor response time. Before this festival took up heavy bass music and sold out to the mainstream music scene, it was peaceful, and cleaner. Now their are deaths each year. Because Camp Bisco was the first festival to combine electronic and jam music they could be blamed for making festival going more of a mainstream activity. Because these festivals are seeing so much more traffic it increases diversity, and the more people there the more chance of having a couple bad eggs. If you look at the tragedies that took place at Electric Zoo http://www.cnn.com/2013/09/01/us/new-york-music-festival-canceled/ two overdose deaths, and a sixteen year old girl that was found under a car with her pants around her ankles reports say she was sexually assaulted. It has gone to far and acts like Bassnectar attract these soles godless mouth breathing college idiots. Death to the mainstream electronic dance music scene.
