When you are sushi lover you would think that you'd try all kinds of sushi at a variety of different places, right?! Typically you'd probably like to experience it ALL! Being that I live in Providence, Rhode Island and I attend a culinary school, I am totally that girl. I love to go out to eat and experiment, especially when it comes to sushi! One day, after lacrosse practice I was really craving some. My coach had suggested a place called Tokyo on Wickenden. I went with a few of my teammates and we were really looking forward to our meal! My coach told me how much she LOVED Tokyo and how when she went she brought a whole lot of money, because when she gets sushi....she REALLY gets a WHOLE-LOTTA sushi. Turns out my experience was the exact opposite and I was super bummed. The orders were combined on the same plates, when the sushi had been ordered individually. They brought out our starter salads last and the service was terrible!!! Note-to-self, when craving really good sushi go to a place that you know will exceed your expectations.

Mt. Fuji Japanese steak house is the bomb! I like how they cook infront of you and keep you engaged by flipping shrimp into your mouth. I like sushi as well, but at Mt. Fuji I prefer the steak and shrimp. Another place like this that I love at home is Hibachi, which has the same concept. Try it out mkbizz!

You inspired me to get sushi today, I hate you!! I have this really great sushi bar in NY that I live at, but as I live here, I am willing to cheat on my old love for something new. However, I have to pay la big bucks to be able to enjoy the pleasures of a new love. I feel completely cheated with the price of sushi here! The typical New Yorker looks to maximize profit and minimize costs at all times, so I refuse to come a state smaller than my pinky toe and pay a price more expensive than a bar in the Big Apple. The moral of my story, I did not get sushi today and I'm really bummed out. So thank you mkbizz for pleasure denied!
