BEST THING I EVER ATE!

Bonjour, from Paris, France. When you think of Paris what comes to mind? Is it the Eiffel Tower or the many monuments and sight seeing that you can see? Well when I think of Paris I think of the best thing I ever ate. At Au Petite Riche, a restaurant right near the Eiffel Tower you can enjoy some garlicy, butter, succulent escargot. They are served either in the dozen or half dozen and are placed in a circle around a specific plate made for the shells. Along with this meal they supply you with a shell holder and a little fork, for when you dive right into the shell looking for the little guys. The snails are boiled, then finished in a the oven with a parsley butter that literally is to die for... don't die of course. You take the snail out of its shell, pour the butter all over it, place it in your mouth and then begin to lift off into to space or somewhere like heaven. Once I finished all 12 of the snails, I like to dip the glorious bread that is also served, into the butter. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Paris was great also, by the way! Great trip!

  1. Sounds awesome! I love snails and I can only imagine how delicious they were in France. They look pretty gross, but taste amazing! More people should give them a try! (Dipping the bread is THE BEST part)
