A few months ago, I bought a brand new long board. I never long boarded before, but I use too skateboard so it was no trouble at all. The first time I seen a long board I thought that it was a dumb idea, because I said to myself that it would be impossible to do any tricks, and that it was pointless. but once I came to college and see all these people with long boards made me want to try. it was a couple of days till I realized that long boards a awesome. I also found out what they are really meant for going fast for down hills, which you cant really do with a skateboard due to speed wobbles. the best part of long boarding is the nice ride for a long distance because of the wheels. the wheels are much bigger and softer then a regular skateboard, when you have bigger wheels you don't have to worry about cracks. buying a long board was a great choice for me.

I am glad you found something that you are interested in doing! It is always exciting to try new things and just "put yourself out there." It gives you the chance to learn new things and to have fun, sometimes even with other people.
