I was always a heavy child since I was a boy, being pounds over weight and having that challenge from looking different from everyone else. I might of been a over weight kid but I loved my sports, my favorite is baseball. I figured out that I must loss this weight in order to be able to run around the bases with out being lapped. I made the decision which was to join my town rec football team in 2008. Me being a twelve year old 185 lb. kid with only one goal to loss weight. my football team was one of the best conditioned team out there my coaches would have us run for days. I had two months to loss 35 pounds. There was times where I would dress in a sauna suit under my pads to sweat as much as possible, sauna suits are pretty much a garbage bag that you wear. I would wear that suit for days out. My coach even dedicated a weight loss day where we would condition for straight three hours. After practice I would lift up my shirt to take off my suit and I would have the biggest smile. my friends would ask me why im smiling after catching my breath from 2 laps. once I lift up the sauna suit I would see and feel a huge puddle of sweat just pour right off my body. Seeing all that fall off my body made me feel amazing and proud. To be a lineman you have to be under 150 lb. and that was my goal. Sadly I just missed the mark for the first game I was 2 lb. over, I was really disappointed in myself but I was still proud in my self. since I didn't make weight for the first game I would have to get a weight check before every game stripped down in my under wear with my coaches and the opponents coaches waiting for my new goal to be completed being able to play a game and shove that weight problem in peoples faces. I drop even more weight in football that the next time I went on that scale it wouldn't even move.
