Located three blocks from the Barclays center is a tiny restaurant that sells the best sushi. Personally, I am in love with the California Roll, but I have begun to experiment with other selections. The Mango Shrimp Roll is by far the best indulgence I’ve had. The mango that they use is sweet and tangy, coupled with the salt of the shrimp… oh wow! It’s heaven. I can’t even begin to describe it. This may seem like any other sushi, but as my friend says: “this must be laced with crack”. The dish is absolutely addictive. I, myself, hate seafood and shellfish and I can only eat small doses in one sitting on occasion, but whenever I’m back in Brooklyn I make this dish my sole mission. It’s funny; my friend hates sushi with a passion. The look, the smell, the form that it comes in, and the texture turn her off. However, when I took her to my haven and begged her to try a single roll she order three more plates and one to go, after we left and went home, she texted me asking if I would like to go back the next day. She goes by the shop almost every other weekend. Sushi has become her new addiction. I am convinced that if anyone has this delicacy they will fall in love with it immediately.
