The best thing I've ever ate is called a zeppole. YOU CAN ONLY GET IT ONE DAY A YEAR, let me repeat ONE DAY ONLY. Zeppole is an Italian dessert, that comes out march 19th for St Josephs day. The average cost for one in Rhode Island is about $4.00. Its a fried puff pastry that has either custard or cannoli style cream. Than topped with more of the cream with a cherry on top and dusted with powered sugar. I LOVE IT!!! I would go to medical school, and i hate blood, hospitals and doctors. I would drive in a blizzard just to get one.

I like your enthusiasm about a zeppole. It is a first time to hear about this pastry, but your post certainly made me to want this gourmet! It is also kind of humorous that yesterday was St Josephs day. I hope you had a enough zeppole for you. Great post!

I had a Zeppole on St Josephs Day! First time for me too, and what an experience! It was incredible and I can not wait to have more in the future. Oh and by the way.... "GO GET ONE NOW!!!"..... I GOT ONE!
