Autumn Rhythm is a painting by American artist, Jackson Pollock. What is Pollock trying to say in this art work? Why this painting became so famous?

  2. I heard somewhere that the government used to buy into artists like Jackson Pollock during the Cold War, to support American artwork in order to draw attention away from any sort of communist artwork. This could be a very large reason artists like this got popular at all.
