Best Thing I've Ever Ate

It isn't extravagant, or fancy. It is simple and delicious.  Whenever the family gets together for a holiday or whatever occasion, I seek out this dish and am always happy to see it.
My grandmother, Mimmie, makes a great shrimp & crab meat casserole.  It's always served out of the dish she bakes it in.  The top of the casserole is deceiving.  It is monotone in color, but makes up for it in flavor.  The top is the best part.  Ritz crackers make it crunchy, buttery, and golden brown.  The inside is not creamy or cheesy, which I love. There's always big pieces of shrimp and crab everywhere in the deep pan.
The reason why I crave this dish sometimes is because it's only available to me a few times a year.  Also, because it reminds me of home.  I guess you can call it my comfort food.
Shrimp & crab meat casserole is the best thing I ever ate, and will continue to eat.
